About Kathryn (Kathi) Ross-Nash

Kathi Ross-Nash began her training with Romana Kryzanowska while dancing with Ballet Hispanico Of NYC. She continued with Romana after leaving the company and has studied with other first generation teachers: Kathy Grant, Sari Pace, Edwina Fontaine and Jay Grimes. Kathi holds a second degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and a certification as an AFTA fitness instructor.

She has made many TV appearances with Romana and is a featured artist in the Romana’s Pilates DVD series, where she appears on the covers. Kathi has also been featured in Pilates Style Magazine. She was featured in the premiere issue, then with Romana and later featured herself. Studio owner for 15 years, Kathi tries to honor her teachers by teaching the method as they have taught her — pure and true.

Seminar Schedule

  • Saturday, March 7, 2008
  • 8:00, 9:00 and 10:00A.M. — Duet lessons
    A Pilates workout true to the principles of the method. Kathryn is a celebrated expert in minimum of motion and flow.
  • 11:00A.M.—12:00P.M. — Mat Class
    Kathryn will lead a workout, emphasising the flow between exercises.
  • 12:00P.M.—1:00P.M. — Lunch
    A healthy picnic with Pilates friends, new and old.
  • 1:00P.M.—4:00P.M. — Seminar
    An in depth look at how extension of the lumbar spine affects turning and spiraling – knowledge to help you support your clients in all activities.
