A gentle introduction to Pilates. This is a series of four Saturday morning Mat classes for beginners.
This mat class is offered to people who are new to Pilates and are looking for a quick way to experience the work. No prior experience with Pilates is necessary to participate. In four weeks you will have learned a basic mat routine and gained sufficient knowledge to perform it as a workout. While the exercises will always be the same, the concepts that you will employ will change every week, in this way you will learn how to coordinate your mental and physical conditioning for optimal results.
